Piobaireachd JD
I first saw a photo of Piobaireachd (pronounced 'Pee-brock') on the ACT Rescue and Foster web site when I was helping a friend look for a dog. I had no intention of getting a dog of my own, but it was love at first sight, and Peebs came to live with me a couple of weeks later.
Peebs was, and still is, energetic and demanding. Three walks a day plus an hour of vigorous play barely tired him when he was young. Luckily I discovered dog sports, and was soon able to channel his energy into obedience training, and later into agility. It was agility where he shone, and he has his Novice Juming title. He is stubbon though, and has a habit of refusing the obstacles he doesn't favour - in particular the weavers, so we trained a lot and only competed a bit.
Piobaireachd may try his paw at Rally-O in the second half of 2013, or he may choose to stay at home on the sofa instead :-)
